Spatial planning of a new distribution center
PRC Logistics, a rapidly growing company in the supply chain industry, entrusted Planning SA the complete detailed spatial planning and drafting storage equipment specifications, of the newly built modern storage and distribution center of 8,500 m² in Aspropyrgos, with the aim of maximizing storage volume, building players, and its more productive operation.
Analytical study of a new Storage and Distribution Center
MEGA HELLAS S.A. assigned our company the overall analytical study of a new Storage and Distribution Center (building shape-location on the plot-detailed interior design-vehicle flows) and the drafting of the detailed technical specifications of the storage equipment. The goals achieved were the maximum possible utilization of the permissible building coefficients, the achievement of the most efficient operation and the lowest construction cost possible.

Spatial and functional design of a new warehouse and store
PLANNING SA was trusted by NIKITAS KOTHROS SA, a pioneering company in the field of commercial vehicle spare parts, with more than 350 active customers in Greece, Cyprus and the Balkans over the last 48 years. The project concerned the spatial and functional design of a new warehouse and store in Aspropyrgos, with a total area of 2,800sq.m., in an existing multi-storey building. The nature of the managed products (small dimensions, bulky, oversized, heavy, fragile, barrels, pallet tanks, etc.), which extends to a range of more than 15,000 codes, guided the overall design aiming at the maximum utilization and the high productivity of the premises.

FAMAR, the largest logistics service provider in the pharmaceutical sector, gave us the opportunity to support them in the qualitative and cost analysis of the Greek cold chain distribution market and to explore with them the opportunities and possibilities of further strengthening FAMAR’s fleet and network throughout Greece.

Design of raw and packaging materials warehouse
PLANNING undertook the design of the factory’s warehouses, studying the automation alternatives for the finished products, achieving the satisfaction of future production development plans in the existing building area, through a fully automated warehouse of the “ready for truck” philosophy. At the same time, PLANNING took up the design of the warehouses of raw materials and packaging materials, succeeding in increasing their capacity through modern storage systems and the “one aisle” (one corridor) philosophy, even though the warehouse space was reduced due to the automation of finished products. Now, COLGATE-PALMOLIVE has the solutions that will allow it to grow, having state-of-the-art warehouses that will support this path to the future.
